About CUET UG 2026 Answer Key
NTA conducted CUET UG 2026 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple cities in India and abroad. The exam was held in several shifts from 11 to 31 May 2026 and again on 6 and 7 June 2026. How to Challenge CUET UG 2026 Provisional Answer Key
Follow these steps carefully to submit your answer key challenge on the official NTA CUET portal:
- Go to the NTA CUET official website at cuet.nta.nic.in and click on 'Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key'.
- Login using your Application Number and Password. Enter the captcha as displayed and click Submit.
- Click on 'View Question Paper' to see your marked responses. To challenge the answer key, click on 'Click to view/Challenge Answer Key'.
- Match the Question IDs in the Answer Key list with your Question Paper. For each question you wish to challenge, select one or more Option IDs by clicking the checkbox.
- Upload supporting documents as a single PDF file by clicking 'Choose File'. Combine all documents into one PDF before uploading.
- Scroll down and click 'Submit and review Claims'. Review all challenged Option IDs on the next screen. Click 'Modify your Claims' to make changes or 'Final Submit' to finalize.
- Click 'Pay Now' and pay Rs. 200 per question challenged via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Payment must be completed by 11 June 2026 (upto 11:50 PM). Claims are confirmed only after successful payment.
Note: The Question IDs in the Answer Key list are not presented in sequential order. Always match the Question ID from your Question Paper with those listed in the Answer Key before raising a challenge.
How NTA Reviews Answer Key Challenges
After the challenge window closes, all submitted objections are reviewed by a panel of subject experts. Here is how the process works:
- Each challenge is individually verified by experts in the relevant subject.
- If a challenge is found correct, the Answer Key is revised for all candidates — not just the challenger.
- No individual candidate will be informed about whether their challenge was accepted or rejected.
- The Final Answer Key prepared after the review will be considered absolute and no further changes will be made.
- The CUET UG 2026 Result and Merit List will be prepared based on this Final Answer Key.
