The National Testing Agency has officially released the CUET UG 2026 Information Bulletin for admission to Undergraduate programmes in Central and participating Universities for the academic session 2026–27. The online application process has started and eligible candidates can apply within the notified dates.

Eligibility Criteria

There is no age limit for appearing in CUET UG 2026. Candidates who have passed Class 12 or are appearing in 2026 are eligible, subject to the admission criteria of the respective University.

Educational Qualification

• Class 12 or equivalent examination passed or appearing
• Qualifying examination must be from a recognized Board or University
• University-specific eligibility conditions will apply

CUET UG 2026 Application Fee

Candidates may choose up to a maximum of five subjects including languages and General Aptitude Test. Application fee is calculated based on the number of subjects selected.

CUET UG 2026 Examination Scheme

Mode Of Examination

CUET UG 2026 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.

Medium Of Examination

Medium of the Question Papers: The CUET UG 2026 will be conducted in 13 Indian languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

The option of language for the Question Paper should be exercised carefully while filling up the online application form and cannot be changed later. Candidates must attempt the Question Paper in the same medium as opted during registration.

The Question Paper will be in both English and the language opted by the candidate. English version shall prevail in case of any difference of opinion.
