Educational Qualification
Mandatory Qualification (Anivary Yogyata): As per Uttar Pradesh Homeguard Service Rules 1982, Part-4, Rule-8, the candidate must have passed Intermediate (Class 12) or equivalent from any recognized board or institution (including non-technical departmental employees up to High School level).
Preferred / Additional Qualification (Adhimani Yogyata): As per UP Homeguard Service Rules 1982, Part-4, Rule-9, preference will be given to candidates who meet any one of the following:
- Has served in the Territorial (Pradeshik) Army for a minimum of 2 years, OR
- Has obtained the NCC 'B' Certificate, OR
- Has worked continuously in a Homeguard organization for a minimum of 3 years.
