Eligibility Criteria
PET-2025 Mandatory Requirement
This is a Main Examination. Only candidates who:
- Appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2025) conducted by UPSSSC
- Have been issued a valid Score Card by the Commission
- Have a positive/non-zero normalized score in PET-2025
are eligible to apply. Candidates with zero or negative scores in PET-2025 will not be shortlisted for the Main Exam.
Educational Qualification
The essential qualification varies by department. The common requirement across most departments for Sahayak Lekhakaar (Assistant Accountant) is:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) from a university established by law in India; OR government-recognized Post-graduate Diploma in Accountancy; AND
- 'O' Level Computer Diploma from a government-recognized institution.

Selection Process
The selection process is two-stage:

General Rules and Instructions
- Only PET-2025 qualified candidates with a valid Score Card can apply. No other login method is accepted.
- Candidates must hold all essential qualifications by the last date of application (3 August 2026).
- EWS certificate must be issued between 01-04-2026 and 03-08-2026 (based on financial year 2025-26 income) and valid for FY 2026-27.
