Eligibility Criteria
Since this notification covers 26 different posts, the qualification differs slightly from post to post, but most posts follow a common pattern:
- Candidates must have passed the Intermediate examination of the Uttarakhand Board of School Education or an equivalent examination recognized by the government.

Selection Process
Selection to these posts will be made through a single objective type written competitive examination. Candidates who need a scribe on account of a benchmark disability can apply for this facility as per the terms mentioned in the notification. A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written examination. In case of a tie, candidates senior in age will rank higher, and if age is also equal, alphabetical order of the English name will be used to break the tie.

The written examination will be objective type with multiple choice questions and will be held offline for a duration of 2 hours. One-fourth of the marks allotted to a question will be deducted for each wrong answer. No marks are deducted for questions left unattempted. The minimum qualifying marks are 45 percent for unreserved, EWS and OBC candidates, and 35 percent for SC and ST candidates. Wherever a typing speed is prescribed for the post, a qualifying typing test will also be held after the written examination.
