Eligibility Criteria

All candidates must also have working knowledge of Hindi written in the Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture. Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying course can also apply, but they must acquire the required qualification by the date of the examination.
Age Limit
Candidates must have completed 18 years and must not have completed 40 years of age as on 1 January 2027. Age relaxation is available as per Rajasthan government rules:
- SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS male candidates who are bonafide residents of Rajasthan: 5 years
- General category women candidates: 5 years
- SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS women candidates who are bonafide residents of Rajasthan: 10 years
- Persons with benchmark disabilities: additional 5 years over and above the relaxation applicable to their category
- Widows and divorced women: no upper age limit, subject to the prescribed retirement age
Age relaxation provisions are non-cumulative; only one of the applicable provisions can be availed by a candidate.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Matrix Level-10 of the Seventh Pay Commission. During the two-year probation period, appointees will receive a fixed monthly remuneration as notified by the state government, without any additional allowances such as house rent allowance or dearness allowance. Regular pay scale and other allowances become admissible only after successful completion of probation.
Selection Process
Selection will be made on the basis of a single Computer Based Test (CBT) / Tablet Based Test (TBT) / OMR-based offline examination, depending on the mode decided for each post. The exam will carry 120 marks for a duration of 2 hours, split into two parts.

The question paper will be objective type with multiple-choice questions of equal marks. The minimum qualifying marks are 40 percent. There is negative marking of one-third (1/3) of the marks allotted to a question for each wrong answer.

General Rules
