Posting at Trombay or Thal

Candidates must select either Trombay or Thal in the Posting At drop-down menu while submitting the application. Once selected, this choice cannot be changed under any circumstances, and the final posting depends on the approved intake quota of the respective unit. The place of posting is non-transferable throughout the apprenticeship period, and no request for transfer from one unit to another will be entertained at any stage.

Selection Process

  1. A merit list is drawn based on the percentage secured by the applicant in the prescribed essential qualification, applying the relevant reservation category.
  2. Candidates from the merit list are called for document verification.
  3. Candidates are appointed as Apprentice Trainees only after successful document verification and approval of their apprenticeship contract on the respective portal, NATS or NAPS. The trainee is expected to join on contract approval, and failure to report by the stipulated date may lead to cancellation of candidature.
  4. In case of a tie in marks, the candidate with a higher qualification is placed higher, and where qualifications are the same, the candidate with more marks in the preceding qualification ranks higher.

Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not by itself guarantee selection. Management may also raise the minimum eligibility criteria to restrict the number of candidates selected, and its decision on all matters of eligibility, selection and cancellation is final.
