Selection Process - Indian Navy Agniveer Apprentice Exam Pattern 2026

Stage I - INET 2/2026 (Indian Navy Entrance Test)

A computer-based test will be conducted separately for Engineering and Electrical entries in August 2026.

Stage II - Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

Stage II - Written Exam

Conducted only for candidates who qualify PFT. Format: 100 questions, 1 hour, bilingual, objective type. Sections: English and General Awareness, Science, Mathematics, and Diploma (Trade Specific). Separate exams for Engineering and Electrical streams. Must pass all sections and in aggregate.

Stage II - Recruitment Medical Examination

Conducted for candidates who qualify PFT. Final merit list is state-wise based on Stage II written exam, subject to qualifying PFT and Medical. Candidates declared medically unfit can appeal within 5 days at a designated military hospital allocated by the Indian Navy. No further review is permissible after that.

Shortlisting - NCC 'C' Certificate Holders and Sponsor Candidates

Terms and Conditions - Agnipath Scheme 2026

• Duration of Service: 4 years under the Navy Act, 1957. Agniveers form a distinct rank, junior most in the Indian Navy.
