DSSSB 2026 exam is a Computer Based Test (CBT). Three different schemes apply based on the post code:

Draft answer keys will be published on the DSSSB website after the examination; candidates can submit online objections within the stipulated time.

Selection Process

  • Selection is through Computer Based Test (CBT) as per the examination schemes described above.
  • Marks will be normalized if the exam is held in multiple shifts, using the Score Normalization Based on Deviation Method formula published by DSSSB.
  • Skill Test, Physical Endurance Test, Driving Test, Trade Test or Aptitude Test may also be conducted as per the requirement of specific posts.
  • Final merit is based on the marks scored in the written examination. SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates selected on their own merit (without relaxation) will be accommodated against unreserved vacancies.
  • Tie-breaking for Technical/Teaching posts: Higher marks in Section B first; then senior age; then name in alphabetical order.
  • Tie-breaking for General posts: Senior age first; then name in alphabetical order.
  • Provisional nomination confers no right to appointment until the User Department verifies eligibility through e-dossier scrutiny.

  1. Visit the official DSSSB online portal at dsssbonline.nic.in and register yourself if you are a first-time applicant. Registration is a one-time exercise; your User ID and Password can be used for all future DSSSB exams.
