How Candidates Will Be Selected

The advertisement does not lay out a marks scheme, and it is open about that. For the posts filled through direct recruitment, candidates are asked to visit the University website for the Scheme of Examination. Deputation candidates are dealt with at the interview and document verification stage.

What the notice does say is useful in itself. Meeting the minimum qualification does not guarantee a call for the test or interview. If a large number of applications arrive, the University may limit the number of candidates to a reasonable figure on the basis of qualifications or experience above the minimum, or on other criteria it decides, and only shortlisted candidates will be invited. The dates will be put on the University website and emailed to shortlisted candidates at the address given in the application form.

Working knowledge of the latest computer applications and good communication skills are mandatory for all positions, and the University reserves the right to test these skills at the time of selection. All appointments are provisional, subject to verification of certificates and antecedents.

The University accepts applications only in online mode. Work through the steps in this order:

  2. Open the University careers portal and find the online application for the post you want.

  7. If you are applying for more than one post, repeat the process with a separate application and a separate fee for each post.

Conditions Worth Reading Twice

  • Applicants who do not meet the qualifications in the advertisement, and incomplete applications, will be rejected summarily.
  • The University processes applications entirely on the information and documents submitted. If anything is found false or incorrect, responsibility lies solely with the candidate.
  • If false or suppressed information comes to light at any stage of service, the selected applicant's services can be terminated forthwith, and the University may initiate action under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
  • Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
  • The posts are tentative. The University may increase or decrease them, may decide not to fill a vacancy, and may revise, reschedule, cancel, suspend or withdraw the recruitment process in part or in full without assigning a reason.
  • In case of any dispute or ambiguity in the selection process, the decision of the University is final, and the territorial jurisdiction is that of the High Court of Delhi.
