How the Selection Will Work
Instead of a written test, this recruitment runs on a shortlist built from the details you enter in the online form. The notification sets out the process in these steps.
- Applications are checked against the eligibility conditions of the posts applied for, and suitable candidates are listed for further selection.
- Candidates are assessed on their sports achievements, consistency of sports performance, age and educational qualification, as on the date fixed in the selection notice.
- The final eligibility list is prepared only from the information given on the online portal. No extra information sent by offline means is accepted.
- The list is subject to verification of original documents. Candidates must bring the original certificates for this stage.
- A candidate is not considered for any post that was not chosen in the form. In case of equal marks, the decision of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Delhi is final.
Being shortlisted or issued an appointment order does not by itself create a right to the job. The department can still reject a candidate if the checks show the candidate is not suitable in every respect. No travel allowance, daily allowance or accommodation is given for attending document verification.
