Primary Teacher alone accounts for 89 of the 254 posts, while the Principal and Vice-Principal posts together add up to just 5. The PwBD column shows posts earmarked for benchmark disabilities, and the notice says candidates appointed against the PwBD quota are adjusted against the vacancy of their respective SC, ST, OBC, EWS or UR category, so it is not an extra count.

Group-wise, that makes 5 Group A posts (Principal and Vice-Principal) and 249 Group B posts. Women, SC, ST and OBC (NCL) candidates should compare their own category column with the subject they plan to choose before filling the form.

Pay Level and Age Limit

Pay is given as a level in the Pay Matrix. The age limit differs sharply between posts, which is worth noting if you hold qualifications for more than one.

Post Pay Level Pay Range Age Limit
Principal Level 12 Rs. 78,800 to Rs. 2,09,200 35 to 50 years
Vice-Principal Level 10 Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 35 to 45 years
PGT (all subjects including Computer Science) Level 8 Rs. 47,600 to Rs. 1,51,100 Up to 40 years
TGT (all subjects) and Librarian Level 7 Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 Up to 35 years
Primary Teacher, Primary Teacher (Music), Balvatika Teacher Level 6 Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 Up to 30 years

Age Relaxation

These are the maximum relaxations in the upper age limit. If you qualify for more than one, only the single highest one is given, and the relaxation for SC, ST and OBC applicants works only against vacancies reserved for those categories.

Category Relaxation
SC / ST 5 years
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) 3 years
Women (all categories), only for PGT, TGT, Librarian, Primary Teacher and Balvatika Teacher posts 10 years
Regular AEES employees 5 years General, 8 years OBC, 10 years SC/ST
Central Government employees with 3 years continuous service in the same or allied cadre 5 years General, 8 years OBC, 10 years SC/ST
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities 15 years SC/ST, 13 years OBC (NCL), 10 years General
Ex-Servicemen for Group A posts 5 years General, 8 years OBC, 10 years SC/ST
Ex-Servicemen for Group B posts, after deducting military service from actual age 3 years General, 6 years OBC, 8 years SC/ST

Age, qualification and every other criterion are judged as on the last date of online submission. If that date is later extended, the original date in the notice still decides eligibility.

Essential Qualification by Post

The CTET Condition

CTET trips up many applicants, so read this part twice. A valid CTET certificate issued on or before 22 November 2026 is essential for Primary Teacher and for TGT posts, except TGT Computer Science, Art Education and Physical and Health Education. Paragraph 4.6 and paragraph 14(n) of the notice word the exceptions slightly differently, so Music and Librarian applicants should read the notice itself. The qualifying marks are 60 percent for unreserved posts and 55 percent for posts reserved for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD.

Application Fee

Two charges apply: an application fee of Rs. 750 and a processing fee of Rs. 250. GST is charged extra by the bank. Payment is online only, by debit card, credit card or net banking. Money order, demand draft or IPO is rejected.

Category Application Fee Processing Fee
General, OBC (NCL) and EWS men Rs. 750 Rs. 250
Women (all categories), SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen Nil Rs. 250

The exemption shows up on the screen automatically when you enter your category. Candidates applying for more than one post pay the fee separately for each. If a card payment shows a status other than OK, the transaction is cancelled and the amount is refunded to the card within a week, so you have to pay again. The fee once paid is not refunded under any circumstances, even if AEES cancels the process.

Selection Process

Every post follows the same two-stage route: a Computer Based Test of multiple choice questions, then a skill test or interview. The notice also mentions a medical examination for those who receive an offer of appointment.

CBT Pattern for Principal and Vice-Principal

Both posts get a 150-mark paper of 2 hours 30 minutes, with no negative marking. The first six subjects are common, and the split changes in the education and administration sections.

Shortlisting for the Skill Test or Interview

Unreserved and EWS candidates need 60 percent or more in the CBT to be shortlisted. SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates need 54 percent or more. If enough candidates are not available, AEES may lower the cut-off, but not below 55 percent for UR and EWS or 49 percent for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD. Qualifying the CBT alone does not guarantee a call.

Interview, Skill Test and Final Merit

  • Principal and Vice-Principal: an interview follows the CBT, and the merit list adds CBT and interview marks with a 50:50 weightage. A candidate must score 60 percent (UR) or 54 percent (reserved) in both separately. Ties are broken first by older age, then by higher CBT marks.
  • All other posts: the skill test is a chalk and board test of teaching skills on a subject-oriented topic. It is qualifying and works on a Go or No Go basis. Only candidates marked Go are empanelled, in the order of CBT merit. Ties are broken first by older age, then by the percentage in the essential qualification.
  • Select list and waiting list: the select list equals the number of vacancies advertised, and a waiting list of the same size is kept, valid for one year from empanelment.
  • Reserved candidates in the UR quota: they get no concession and compete with UR candidates on every count.
  • Venue: the skill test and interview are held only at AEES, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai.

How to Apply

Only the online mode is accepted, and the notice asks candidates to rely on the AEES Online Application Portal for authentic information. Follow these steps in order.

  1. Check that you meet the age limit, essential qualification and CTET requirement for the one post you want, counted as on 22 November 2026.
  2. Keep a valid personal email ID and mobile number ready, and scan your documents with a proper scanner and not a mobile phone camera.
  3. Open the AEES Online Application Portal on or after 10.00 AM on 2 November 2026 and register with your own email ID and mobile number.
  4. Select the post from the drop-down list. Choose only one subject within PGT and only one within TGT, and give your order of preference for posting.
  5. Fill in your name, parents' names, date of birth, category and gender exactly as they appear in your Class X certificate.
  6. Upload the recent colour photograph, your signature and the documents asked for your post, following the size and format rules shown on the portal.
  7. Pay the fee online by debit card, credit card or net banking before 11.50 PM on 22 November 2026. Exempt categories pay only the Rs. 250 processing fee.
  8. Complete every step, generate the Confirmation Page and keep a printout. Do not post it to AEES, but carry it with self-attested documents to the skill test or interview.

A form without the Confirmation Page is treated as incomplete, and an incomplete form is summarily rejected. AEES also takes no responsibility for internet or connectivity trouble at your end, so avoid filling the form on the last day. For help while filling the form, the notice gives the number 18005691325 and a Raise Query tab inside the candidate login.

Documents to Keep Ready

Scanned copies are uploaded with the application, and the originals plus self-attested copies are checked at the skill test or interview. Scans made with a phone camera or an app can get the application rejected. The list varies a little by post, but the core set is:

  • Recent colour photograph and signature (unclear, side-facing, cap or goggles photographs are rejected)
  • Class X mark sheet, admit card or passing certificate as proof of date of birth
  • Class XII mark sheet and passing certificate
  • Semester-wise or year-wise mark sheets and degree or provisional certificates of graduation, post graduation and B.Ed., depending on the post
  • CTET marks statement, where required (Paper-I for Primary Teacher, Paper-II for TGT)
  • Category proof for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS or Ex-Servicemen claims, in the prescribed proforma
  • PwBD certificate and UDID card, if applicable
  • No Objection Certificate for those working in government, PSU or autonomous bodies, with vigilance clearance
  • Experience certificate for Principal and Vice-Principal
  • Gazette notification, if the name has changed

Two more details matter. An OBC (NCL) certificate must be dated between 1 April 2026 and the date of joining. And candidates must bring a police verification certificate not older than 6 months from the last date of online submission to the skill test or interview, or at least the acknowledged application for one.

Exam Cities and Admit Card

The CBT is tentatively planned in 44 cities, from Amaravati, Guwahati and Patna to Leh, Srinagar, Ernakulam and Kolkata. Mumbai, Delhi NCR and a few other cities carry sub-options, and you can choose only one within each group. AEES may cancel or divert any city. Admit cards and call letters can be downloaded only from your candidate login and are not sent by email or post. A mock CBT link is provided in the login after the call letter is issued.

Rules Worth Noting Before You Apply

  • Answer key: objections are accepted online only, within 72 hours of display, at Rs. 250 per question. The fee is refunded if the challenge is upheld, and one mark goes to every candidate for a question found wrong.
  • PwBD candidates: check the functional requirements listed for your post before applying. A medical authority certificate is needed at the final stage. Scribe and compensatory time rules are set out in paragraph 5 of the notice.
  • Electronic items: books, phones, tablets and calculators are not allowed in the exam hall, and no safekeeping facility is available.
  • Right to change: AEES can alter the notice before the last date, so keep checking the portal for amendments.
  • Language: if the Hindi and English versions of the notice differ, the English version prevails.
  • Unfair means: impersonation, wrong photographs, false information or tampered admit cards lead to disqualification and possible criminal action.

The last date to submit the online application and to pay the fee is 22 November 2026 up to 11.50 PM. The application process opens on 2 November 2026 at 10.00 AM, so the window is roughly three weeks. Age, qualification and CTET eligibility are checked as on the last date of submission.

Q2. How many posts are there in AEES Recruitment Notification 01/2026?

The notice lists 254 tentative vacancies across 25 post and subject lines, from Principal to Balvatika Teacher. The vacancies are tentative and can increase or decrease. Primary Teacher is the largest single line with 89 posts, followed by Mathematics-Physics TGT with 22.

Q3. Is CTET compulsory for AEES teacher posts?

A valid CTET certificate issued on or before the last date of application is required for Primary Teacher and for TGT posts, except TGT Computer Science, TGT Art Education and TGT Physical and Health Education. Paper-I applies to Primary Teacher and Paper-II to TGT. The qualifying marks are 60 percent for unreserved posts and 55 percent for posts reserved for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD.

Q4. What is the application fee for AEES Teacher Online Form 2026?

The notice fixes an application fee of Rs. 750 and a processing fee of Rs. 250, payable online, with GST charged extra by the bank. Women, SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates do not pay the Rs. 750 application fee but must still pay the Rs. 250 processing fee. Fee paid once is not refunded under any circumstances.

Q5. Can I apply for more than one post in the AEES recruitment?

Yes, but each post needs a separate application and a separate fee. Within PGT you can apply for only one subject, and within TGT you can apply for only one subject, even if you qualify in more than one. Separate applications may also land you in different exam centres in the same city, and AEES will not entertain requests to change that.

Q6. What is the selection process for AEES teaching posts?

Selection is through a Computer Based Test with multiple choice questions, followed by a skill test or interview. For Principal and Vice-Principal the final merit gives 50 percent weightage each to the CBT and the interview. For PGT, TGT, Librarian, Primary Teacher and Balvatika Teacher the skill test is a qualifying Go or No Go chalk and board teaching test, and the select list follows CBT merit among those marked Go.

Q7. What are the age limits for the AEES teacher posts?

The upper age limit is 50 years for Principal, 45 for Vice-Principal, 40 for PGT, 35 for TGT and Librarian, and 30 for Primary Teacher, Primary Teacher (Music) and Balvatika Teacher. The minimum age for every post is 18 years, and Principal and Vice-Principal also carry a minimum of 35 years. Relaxation is allowed for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), women, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and eligible government or AEES employees, and only the single highest concession applies.

Q8. Where will I be posted if I am selected by AEES?

Selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India where AEES schools are located, across its 15 centres. Candidates give an order of preference for posting in the application form, but any request for change of station or region is not entertained after the initial posting. Selected candidates are placed on probation for two years, which can be extended.
