(Non-gazetted departmental employees may be considered for Intermediate level as per UP Home Guards Service Rules 1982, Part-4, Rule-8.) Selection Process

The selection for UPSSSC Platoon Commander and Block Organizer 2026 is a three-stage process:

  • Stage 1 — PET-2025 Shortlisting: Only candidates who appeared in PET-2025 and received a score card from UPSSSC are eligible. Shortlisting for the main exam is done on the basis of normalised PET-2025 score. Candidates with zero, negative, or below-zero score in PET-2025 absolute/normalised score are not shortlisted.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  • All reserved category candidates from UP must mention their category in the application form.
  • Candidates who are not domicile of Uttar Pradesh will not be eligible for reservation benefits and will be treated as General category.
  • EWS candidates must have an EWS certificate for financial year 2025-26 and valid for 2026-27, issued between 01 April 2026 to 06 July 2026.
  • Ex-Servicemen who are retiring by 06 July 2026 are also eligible for reservation benefits.
