Selection Process

The selection process for UM-DAE CEBS Faculty Recruitment 2026 involves the following stages:

• Stage 1 - Screening: A Screening Committee will shortlist candidates based on their peer-reviewed scientific publications, quality of research proposal, relevant experience, and letters of recommendation.

Pay, Benefits and Service Conditions

• Pay scales are as per the 7th CPC academic scale applicable to UM-DAE CEBS.
• Allowances like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Children's Education Allowance, Pension Scheme, and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) are admissible as per Central Government norms.
• Faculty members are eligible for the Contributory Health Service Scheme (CHSS) as per DAE norms.
• Probation period: 1 year from date of joining.
• Initial appointment period: 5 years (including probation), after which confirmation is based on review.
• Superannuation age: 62 years (extendable to 65 years by the Governing Council).
