- Duration: 2 hours
- Negative Marking: 1/4th mark deducted for each wrong answer in objective questions. Unattempted questions receive no credit or penalty.
- Subjective part (English Composition) must be typed on computer within the stipulated time.
- If CBT is held in multiple shifts, marks of objective portion will be normalized using Standard Deviation Method.
Stage 2: Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) - Qualifying Nature Only
- CPT marks are NOT counted in determining final merit - it is a qualifying test only.
- Part I - Spread Sheet Test: 10 marks, 10 minutes duration. Qualifying mark: 40% (i.e., 4 or more marks).
- Part II - Computer Typing Test: English typing at 30 Words Per Minute (WPM). Formula: (Words typed - Mistakes) / 10. Part II is checked only for candidates who qualify Part I (4 or more marks).
- PwBD candidates (Both Arm Affected - BA, or physically limited to type at 30 WPM) can apply for CPT exemption with Disability Certificate and/or Medical Certificate from CMO/Civil Surgeon/Medical Superintendent of a Government healthcare institution, within 15 days from declaration of CBT result.
Stage 3: Checking of Original Testimonials / Interaction
- Candidates who qualify both CBT and CPT will be called for document verification/interaction.
Merit List Preparation
- Final Select List is prepared strictly on the basis of CBT marks.
- In case of tie: the candidate elder in age is ranked higher.
- If same marks and same date of birth: candidates are placed alphabetically (A to Z).
Pay and Allowances
