Educational Qualification

Selection Process — SECR Raipur Trade Apprentice

There is no written examination for this recruitment. Selection is based entirely on merit list prepared as follows:

• Average percentage of marks in 10th (Matriculation) and ITI examinations.
• Equal weightage is given to both examinations as per Railway Establishment Rule 201/2017.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification.
• A Medical Examination certificate will be required at the time of document verification, signed by a Government Authorized Doctor (not below Assistant Surgeon rank).

Training Period and Stipend

• Selected candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of 1 Year in the relevant trade.
• They will receive a stipend during training as per Railway Board rules.
• Training will be terminated upon completion of the apprenticeship period.
• Important: Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee any employment offer from the Railway Administration. It is not obligatory for either party to offer or accept any employment after training.
