How The Merit List Is Prepared
There is no exam. The score is the simple average of the Class 10 aggregate percentage, taken on total marks only, and the ITI percentage from the consolidated all-semester marks or the provisional National Trade Certificate. No central merit list is made; each unit gets its candidates by trade and community, in descending order of score.
Ties go to the older candidate, then to whoever passed Class 10 first. Any gap between your entered marks and RRC calculation cancels your candidature.
Converting Grades To Percentage
For letter grades, take the midpoint of the grade range. An overall grade A (80 to 89) becomes 84.5 percent. With only subject-wise grades, find each midpoint and average them; the notice example of 84.5, 94.5, 74.5, 84.5 and 94.5 gives 86.5 percent.
Choosing Your Cluster And Unit
Pick one cluster only and rank its units. Confirm your trade has a slot there, since nothing can be edited after final submission and unit changes are refused after selection.
Documents And Uploads
- Class 10 marksheet and birth proof
- ITI consolidated marksheet or provisional certificate, and the trade certificate
