Who Can Apply

Educational Qualification

Every trade needs a 10th or Matric pass under the 10+2 system or equivalent. Sl. No. 1 to 3 list no technical qualification. Sl. No. 4 to 19 need an ITI pass in the concerned trade from a recognized institute, held on the cut-off date.

Points to Check Before Applying

• Diploma, B.E. or equivalent holders will not be considered, and degrees like B.A., B.Sc. or B.Com. get no extra weightage.
• Candidates who passed ITI in 2025 or earlier must submit an affidavit of no earlier apprenticeship or employment.
• Anyone who completed an apprenticeship under NAPS cannot take another contract in a different trade.

Age Limit

18 to 25 years as on 01.11.2026, with 5 years relaxation for SC and ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.

How the Merit List Is Prepared

The notice describes no written test. Ranking is by marks in 10th and ITI.

• ITI trade marks carry 30% and 10th board marks carry 70%.
• Mate Mines and Shotfirer/Blaster use 100% weightage on 10th marks.
• Equal marks: the older candidate ranks higher. CGPA is multiplied by 9.5 to get a percentage.

How to Apply

2. Register as an apprentice on the Government of India apprenticeship portal and note your registration number in the format Axxxxxxxxx.
3. Make sure your portal profile matches your marksheet in name, parents names, date of birth and Aadhar details, and has Aadhar verification, bank account and eKYC completed.
4. Enter your highest qualification as ITI with marksheet details, or as 10th Pass if you are a fresher.
5. Use Establishment Search on the portal to select Hindustan Copper Limited, Malanjkhand Copper Project, apply for your trade and keep the printed applied copy.
6. Open the Career section of the HCL website, fill the online form and enter the unique number from the apprenticeship portal.
7. Upload your photograph, signature and, if required, the affidavit, then submit the form on or before 24.11.2026.
8. Print the application and acknowledgement slip and keep them for future reference.
