Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
• Minimum 40% marks in the Engineering Degree (SC/ST/PwBD candidates with pass marks are also eligible).
• Minimum 1 year post-qualification working experience in Operation or Maintenance of a power plant of capacity 40 MW or more.

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: 35 years as on the last date of receipt of online application.
• Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates, 10 years for PwBD candidates, and relaxation for Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. guidelines.

Tenure of Engagement

• Fixed Term Employment for 3 years, extendable for another 2 years based on performance and requirement.
• Posting at any of NTPC's Stations, Projects, JVs, or Subsidiaries. The job is transferable between any of the plants of NTPC/JVs/Subsidiaries.

Remuneration

• Fixed Monthly Consolidated Amount: Rs. 55,000/-
• Additionally: HRA or Company Accommodation, Night Shift Allowance (if rostered in night shift), and Medical Facility for self, spouse, two children and dependent parents.

Health Standards

• Candidate should have sound health. Before joining, candidates will have to undergo medical examination at any of the NTPC hospitals. The decision will be final and binding.
