Educational Qualification

• Peon, Watchman, Sweeper, Peons (House Keeping): Must have passed 10th Standard (SSLC) or equivalent examination.
• Lift Attender: 10th Standard pass or equivalent and must have experience in Lift Mechanism.
• Assistant Binder: 10th Standard pass or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in binding work.
• Tailor: 10th Standard pass or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in tailoring work.
• Dhobi: 10th Standard pass or equivalent and must have worked as a Dhobi.

Note: "10th Standard or equivalent" refers to examinations and courses as prescribed in Government of Karnataka Circular No. DPAR 81 SCR 2017 dated 27.02.2018.

Age Limit (as on 21st May 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years (all categories)
• General Merit: Maximum 40 years
• OBC Category II(A) / II(B) / III(A) / III(B): Maximum 43 years
• SC / ST / OBC Category-I: Maximum 45 years

Selection Process

• Merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination (10th Standard or equivalent).
• Reservation norms for SC, ST, OBC, Women, Rural Candidates, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Benchmark Disability, and Transgender candidates will be followed as per government orders.
• Candidates will be shortlisted for interview. The number of candidates called for interview will be 10 times the total number of vacancies notified.
• Maximum marks for the interview are 10 (ten).
• Final selection will be based on merit and interview performance.
• Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years initially, extendable if required.
