Selection Process - JKSSB Advt No. 04 of 2026
- Selection for all posts will be made solely on the basis of merit obtained in the Written/OMR Examination.
- The examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple Choice Questions set in English language only.
- Negative Marking: One-fourth of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Candidates shortlisted after the written exam will be called for Document Verification (DV).
- Exam date and venue/centre will be notified separately on jkssb.nic.in.
- Admit Cards will be available for download approximately one week before the exam date.
- Syllabus for the posts will be notified separately on the official JKSSB website.
Domicile Requirement
- Only candidates who are Domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir are eligible.
- A valid Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority must be in possession on or before the cut-off date (21.07.2026).
- Certificate must be in the prescribed format as per relevant Act/SO.
Important Rules for Candidates
- Only one online application per Item Number is allowed. In case of multiple applications for the same Item No., the latest application will be considered.
- Name, Date of Birth, Father's Name, and Mother's Name must be filled exactly as in the Matriculation Certificate.
- No changes in the application will be entertained once submitted.
- Reserved category candidates must upload a valid Category Certificate (valid on or before the cut-off date) at the time of applying. No further opportunity to upload will be given.
- Mobile phones and all electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
- In-service candidates must submit a printout of the filled online application through proper channel via the concerned Head of Department.
