Eligibility Criteria For IUAC Vacancy 2026

Age Limit

Age relaxation of 5 years is given to Central and State Government or Autonomous Body employees who have completed 3 years of regular service. SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation, OBC candidates get 3 years relaxation, and PwBD candidates get 10 years relaxation on reserved posts. Ex-servicemen get relaxation equal to their military service plus 3 years. No age relaxation is available for contract, ad-hoc or daily wage employees.

Educational Qualification

Desirable qualification for all three posts includes proficiency in computer applications. Junior Engineer-C candidates with 3 years of relevant experience in a research and development institution will get preference.

Pay Scale For IUAC Recruitment 2026

Scientist-C selected candidates will initially join as Scientist Trainee and receive a monthly stipend of Rs 55,000 during the one year training period. After successful completion of training, they will be absorbed as Scientist-C in Level 10 of the pay matrix.
