| Persons with Benchmark Disabilities | 10 Years |
Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates can be combined with only one of the other applicable relaxations, on a cumulative basis. Stipend
| Branch Category | Monthly Stipend |
|---|---|
| Metro | Rs. 15,500 (including government subsidy, if any) |
| Urban | Rs. 14,500 (including government subsidy, if any) |
| Semi-Urban / Rural | Rs. 14,000 (including government subsidy, if any) |
For candidates selected under NATS, the bank pays the balance after the government's share of Rs. 6,150 is credited directly to the apprentice's account through Direct Benefit Transfer: Rs. 9,350 for Metro, Rs. 8,350 for Urban, and Rs. 7,850 for Semi-Urban or Rural postings. Stipend is credited monthly after adjusting for unauthorised leave, and apprentices are not entitled to any other allowance or benefit.
Selection Process
Selection is through an online written examination, followed by a test of the local language where applicable, and document verification or personal interaction.
| Section | Number of Questions | Marks |
|---|---|---|
| General / Financial Awareness | 25 | 25 |
| General English | 25 | 25 |
| Quantitative and Reasoning Aptitude | 25 | 25 |
| Computer or Subject Knowledge | 25 | 25 |
| Total | 100 | 100 |
The online test runs for 90 minutes and is conducted remotely using the candidate's own camera-enabled device, with identity verified against the ID proof uploaded on the apprenticeship portal. There is no subject-wise qualifying mark; candidates need to clear a minimum aggregate percentage set by the bank, with a 5% relaxation for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates.
Candidates who qualify the written test and have applied for a state's seats must also clear a test of proficiency in one local language of that state, conducted at the time of document verification. Candidates who can produce a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet showing that language as a subject are exempt from this test.
A state-category-wise wait list is maintained for one year from the date of result, or till the next engagement exercise, whichever is earlier, and candidates are released from it against non-joining vacancies.
