Selection Process
The selection process for IAF Group C Civilian Recruitment 2026 consists of the following stages:
- All applications will be scrutinised for age limit, minimum qualification, documents, and certificates. Eligible candidates will then be issued call letters for the written test.
- Written Test (100% weightage): Eligible candidates must appear in the written test.
- Skill/Practical/Physical Test (Qualifying only): Shortlisted candidates will be called for the skill, practical, or physical test wherever applicable, based on merit/category in the written test.

The question cum answer paper will be in English and Hindi (bilingual). The centre for examination/skill/practical/physical test will be intimated to the candidate in due course; it may differ from the place to which the application was sent. General Rules and Important Instructions
- Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens only.
- The Air Officer Commanding/Station Commander/Commanding Officer of the concerned AF Station has the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.
- Respective Command/Unit has the right to change the number of vacancies or reservation status at any AF Station at any time before selection.
- Selected candidates will be subject to "All India Service Liability".
- Candidates must bring original certificates at the time of skill/practical/physical test. The crucial date for determining validity of documents/certificates will be on or before the last date of receipt of application.
- In the case of appointment of OBC candidates against their reserved quota, their caste must be listed under the Central List of OBCs. OBC candidates seeking reservation must submit a certificate that they do not belong to the creamy layer.
