Educational Qualification

• Professor (Medical): MBBS with MD/MS in relevant specialty. 14 years teaching/research experience after MD/MS; or 12 years after M.Ch./D.M. (2 or 5 year course); or 11 years after 3-year D.M./M.Ch.
• Professor (Non-Medical): Master's degree in discipline + Doctorate from recognized university. 14 years teaching/research experience after Ph.D.
• Additional Professor (Medical): Same as Professor (Medical). 10 years experience after MD/MS; or 8 years after D.M./M.Ch. (2 or 5 year); or 7 years after 3-year D.M./M.Ch.
• Associate Professor (Medical): Same as Professor (Medical). 6 years experience after MD/MS; or 4 years after D.M./M.Ch. (2 or 5 year); or 3 years after 3-year D.M./M.Ch.
• Assistant Professor (Medical): MBBS with MD/MS in relevant specialty. 3 years experience after MD/MS; or 1 year after D.M./M.Ch. (2 or 5 year); no experience needed for 3-year D.M./M.Ch.
• Assistant Professor (Non-Medical): Master's + Ph.D. with 3 years teaching/research experience after doctorate.
• Hospital Administration (all levels): MBBS + MD in Hospital Administration or Master's in Hospital Administration (MHA) from MCI-recognized institution, with experience varying by post level (3 to 14 years).
• Qualification must be registered with MCI/NMC/DCI wherever applicable.
