Territorial Army Recruitment Rally 2026: 74 Posts in 137 CETF Bn (TA) 39 Gorkha Rifles, Prayagraj
The Territorial Army Recruitment Rally 2026 is a walk-in event, not an online form. 137 Composite Ecological Task Force Battalion (Territorial Army) 39 Gorkha Rifles will hold an all India rally at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, New Cantt, Prayagraj (UP) from 16 November 2026 to 21 November 2026 to fill 74 posts. It is meant for pension-holding ex-servicemen and for ex-women employees of MoEF&CC and State Forest Department, including premature retirees. Candidates have to report in person at 7 AM on the first day, so the real preparation here is about documents, fitness and eligibility, not a web portal.

Who This Rally Is For
The notification invites two groups: ex-servicemen who are pension holders, and ex-women employees of MoEF&CC and State Forest Department (premature retirees are included). The qualification clause also asks for Indian domicile and a minimum of 20 years of service in MoEF&CC or State Forest Department. Because the clause is worded briefly in the notice, read it together with the first paragraph of the notification and confirm your category at the rally enquiry numbers given later in this article if you are unsure.
The battalion is an ecological unit, which is why ex-women employees of the forest department are part of the pool. Their proficiency test also differs from the one for tradesmen, as explained in the selection section below.
