Wherever a degree carries a CGPA, OGPA or SGPA instead of a percentage, candidates must convert it to an equivalent percentage as per the norms of their university or institute and mention this in the application. Candidates in the final year of their qualifying degree are not eligible to apply.

The upper age limit varies slightly by discipline and is generally 27 years for UR and EWS candidates, rising to 30 years for OBC (NCL) and 32 years for SC/ST candidates, with further variation for a few specialised disciplines such as Boiler, CC Lab and Materials. Application Fee
General, OBC (NCL) and EWS candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1000, plus applicable bank charges and GST, through internet banking, debit card or credit card at the time of online submission. SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD and female candidates are exempted from paying any application fee. Selection Process
Selection for RCF Management Trainee posts is based on a computer-based online test followed by a personal interview.
Online Test
The online test will be conducted at centres in Bhopal, Delhi/Delhi NCR, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Guwahati, Kolkata, the Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/Thane/MMR region, and Nagpur, in Hindi and English. The test runs for 90 minutes and carries 100 questions: 50 discipline-related questions worth two marks each, and 50 questions on General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and General Knowledge worth one mark each. There is negative marking for wrong answers, and candidates scoring nil or negative marks will not be called for interview.
Personal Interview
Based on online test performance and document verification, candidates will be shortlisted for interview in a ratio of approximately 1:7 per post. Candidates must secure a minimum average of 50% marks in the interview to qualify.

Stipend, Pay Scale and Bond
Selected candidates will undergo one year of training and receive a lump sum stipend of Rs. 60,000 per month, along with free hostel accommodation if posted at Trombay or Thal, and medical facility at the RCF Hospital. On successful completion of training, they will be absorbed in the E1 Grade in the pay scale of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,40,000, with total monthly gross emoluments of approximately Rs. 86,320. Trainees posted at locations other than Trombay and Thal will additionally receive a fixed allowance of Rs. 5,000 per month towards boarding, lodging and local travel.
A bond amount of Rs. 2 Lakhs must be deposited as a fixed deposit with a lien marked to RCF Ltd, covering a 4-year period that includes the one-year training. Candidates unable to deposit the bond amount upfront can have it recovered through monthly deductions from their stipend. After the one-year training period, Management Trainees undergo a further probation period of 6 months before their appointment is confirmed.
Reservation for Persons with Disabilities
Candidates with benchmark disabilities as defined under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, are eligible for reservation only against posts and disability categories specifically identified for each discipline, such as Locomotor Disability, Hearing Impairment, Visual Impairment, and certain Intellectual Disabilities.
