Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
- For candidates registered under NATS portal: Date of passing Graduation should not be more than 4 years before the cut-off date (01/05/2026).

Important: There is NO negative marking for wrong answers. The exam will be remotely proctored and can be taken from home using a smartphone, laptop, desktop, or tablet with an operational front camera, microphone, and stable Wi-Fi connection.
Local Language Test – State-Wise
Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, understanding) in the local language of the State/UT they apply for. Candidates who have studied the specified language in 10th or 12th standard are exempted from this test.
Selected State-wise languages: Andhra Pradesh – Telugu/Urdu; Bihar – Hindi/Urdu; Gujarat – Gujarati; Karnataka – Kannada; Kerala – Malayalam; Maharashtra – Marathi; Tamil Nadu – Tamil; Uttar Pradesh – Hindi/Urdu; West Bengal – Bengali/Nepali; and so on as per the official notification.
Merit List and Final Selection
- Merit list is drawn State-wise and Category-wise in descending order of marks.
- In case of tie, candidates with higher age rank above others.
- SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates get 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.
- A State-wise and Category-wise Wait List will also be published, valid for 1 year.
Stipend and Training Details
- Monthly Stipend: Rs. 15,000/- per month
- Training Duration: 12 months (On-the-Job Training)
- No other allowances or benefits are payable.
- No transport, hostel, or residential accommodation will be provided.
- At the end of training, candidates will appear for a final assessment test and receive an Apprenticeship Certificate.
- Apprentices are prohibited from joining or forming any Union Body.
