Application Fee

Candidates need to pay the application fee and intimation charges online through the payment gateway integrated with the application form. The fee is non-refundable, and no request for a refund will be entertained even if a candidate makes more than one payment by mistake.

Out of the total vacancies, 40 posts of Wealth Executive and 4 posts of Credit Analyst are reserved horizontally for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, spread across locomotor disability, hearing impairment, visual impairment, and other categories. The bank has clarified that it may modify the number of vacancies depending on its requirement, so candidates should treat these figures as provisional.

Eligibility Criteria

Wealth Executive (JMG/S-I)

Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline along with any one of the following valid certifications: IC 38 from the Insurance Institute of India, NISM Series V A (Mutual Fund Distributors), NISM Series XXI-A (Portfolio Management Services Distributors), or NISM Series V-D (Mutual Fund Specialised Investment Fund Distributors). A two-year full-time postgraduate degree or diploma in management, or an MBA in Finance, Marketing, or Banking, is preferred but not mandatory.

On the experience side, candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in sales of wealth products with leading public sector banks, private sector banks, foreign banks, broking firms, securities firms, asset management companies, or wealth management companies in India.

Credit Analyst - C&IC (MMG/S-II)

Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline along with a Chartered Accountant qualification. A minimum of one year of banking experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank is mandatory, and experience specifically in corporate credit will be preferred.

For both posts, post-qualification experience of less than six months in any organization as on the cut-off date will not be counted towards eligibility, except when it forms part of current employment. Experience in a clerical cadre will also not be considered.

There is no reservation for Ex-Servicemen in the Officers' cadre, though age relaxation is still applicable to them. Candidates seeking age relaxation must submit the necessary certificates at the time of interview or any subsequent stage as required by the bank.

Salary and other emoluments will be governed by the industry-level bipartite settlement and the Joint Note applicable to officers in the banking sector. Selected candidates will also be entitled to bank-specific allowances and perquisites as per the bank's policies.

Probation and Service Bond

Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of 12 months from the date of joining. They will also be required to execute a service bond to serve the bank for a minimum period of three years. Officers recruited in JMG/S-I who leave before completing three years will need to pay an amount equal to three months' gross salary, subject to a cap of Rs.2 lakhs. For MMG/S-II, the equivalent amount is capped at Rs.3 lakhs. The bond terms are subject to revision as per the bank's prevailing policies.

Selection Process

The selection process may comprise application scrutiny, an online test, a psychometric test, or any other test deemed suitable, followed by a Group Discussion and/or Interview. The bank has reserved the right to change, cancel, modify, or add to any of the selection criteria at its discretion.

Where a written test is conducted, candidates will need to secure a minimum score in each section as well as a minimum total score to be shortlisted for the Psychometric Assessment or Personal Interview. The minimum qualifying marks for the Personal Interview are 60 percent for General and EWS category candidates, and 55 percent for other reserved categories.

Sections 1, 2, and 3 are qualifying in nature, and marks scored in them will not count towards the final merit list. There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in all sections, while unanswered questions carry no penalty. Except for the English Language test, all sections will be available bilingually in English and Hindi.

General Rules

  • Only candidates willing to serve anywhere in India should apply, as selected candidates can be posted to any branch or office of the bank at its discretion.
