Within Post Codes 105, 106 and 107, two posts each are reserved for persons with benchmark disabilities and seven posts each are reserved for ex-servicemen, and Post Code 107 also carries a reservation of one post for PwBD candidates within the general vacancies. Candidates must be Indian citizens and at least 18 years of age as on the date of advertisement. Age relaxation of 5 years applies for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer), 10 years for PwBD candidates, and a service-based relaxation for ex-servicemen, subject to a cumulative upper ceiling of 47 years. Existing CCI employees applying under direct recruitment get age relaxation only to the extent of their years of service in the corporation.

Selected candidates will serve a probation period of 12 months and must execute a service bond to serve the corporation for a minimum of 3 years after joining, failing which 3 months basic pay becomes payable in lieu.

Selection Process

Selection for all seven posts follows a Computer Based Test of 120 objective type questions to be attempted in 120 minutes, with one mark for every correct answer and 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates who qualify the test will be called for document verification, where CCI will finally determine their eligibility. The minimum qualifying percentage in the Computer Based Test is 40 percent for UR, EWS and OBC candidates, and 35 percent for SC, ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen candidates.

Exam Pattern

Each post has a five-part paper covering General English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge and a subject-specific section, with computer proficiency added as a separate unit for most posts. The number of questions per unit varies by post, as shown below.

The subject knowledge section for Assistant Manager (Official Language) is based on Hindi language and translation, while the sections for Assistant Manager (Information Technology) and the two Management Trainee posts are drawn from their respective technical, marketing or accounts and finance syllabus. Junior Assistant (General) does not carry a separate subject knowledge section and instead has larger general sections.
