Educational Qualification

As per UP Subordinate Agriculture Service Rules 1993 (as amended), candidates must hold:

• A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or equivalent from a recognized university or institution established by law in India.
• Acceptable degrees include: B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons) Horticulture, B.Sc. Horticulture (Hons), B.Sc. Forestry, B.Sc. (Hons) Forestry, B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering)
• Also accepted: Four-year B.Sc. degree in Home Science or Community Science awarded by an Agriculture University.

Preferential Qualification (Adhimani Yogyata): Preference will be given to candidates who have served in the Provincial Army for at least two years, or who hold an NCC 'B' Certificate.

PET-2025 Requirement

This is the Main Exam notification. Only candidates who appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test-2025 (PET-2025) and received a score card from UPSSSC are eligible to apply. Candidates who scored zero or negative marks in PET-2025 will not be shortlisted for the Main Exam.

Selection Process

Selection for UPSSSC Technical Assistant Group C posts will be based on the following process:

• Shortlisting for Main Exam: Based on normalised score of PET-2025. Candidates up to 15 times the category-wise vacancies (up to the final cut-off marks, rounded to 2 decimal places) will be shortlisted.
• Written Main Examination (Likhit Pariksha): Objective type paper with 100 questions of 100 marks. Duration: 2 hours.
• Final Merit List: Based on performance in the written Main Exam.
