Stage 2 – Qualifying Examination (Aharkari Pariksha)
Candidates shortlisted from the written exam will appear in a Sign Language and Braille Script proficiency test, which is of qualifying nature. This test will be conducted for applicable posts only. For posts where sign language or Braille is not in the eligibility criteria, final selection will be based on written exam marks only.
Sign Language Proficiency Test:
- Two components: Text to Sign Language Conversion and Sign Language to Text Conversion.
- Each component has a time of 8 minutes.

Braille Script Proficiency Test:
- Two components: Text to Braille Script Writing and Braille Script to Text Writing.

Reservation Policy
- SC, ST, OBC and EWS candidates of UP will get reservation as per prevailing UP government orders.
- EWS candidates: Annual family income must be less than Rs 8 lakh from all sources. EWS certificate must be issued between 01-04-2026 and 27-04-2026 (FY 2025-26 income based, valid for FY 2026-27).
- Female candidates from UP will get horizontal reservation as per applicable UP government orders.
