Educational Qualification

As per Uttar Pradesh Ganna Paryavekshak (Group-III) Service Rules, 1979 (as amended), candidates must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Science from a University established by law in India.
  • CCC (Course on Computer Concepts) certificate issued by DOEACC Society (NIELIT).

Examination Structure - Main Written Exam

Selection is based on a written (main) examination. There will be one question paper of 100 questions for 100 marks, to be attempted in 2 hours (120 minutes). All questions are objective-type multiple choice.

Selection Process

  1. PET-2025 Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted for the Main Exam based on their normalised PET-2025 score. Up to 15 times the number of advertised vacancies (category-wise) will be shortlisted, up to the cut-off marks (rounded to 2 decimal places).
  2. Main Written Examination: Shortlisted candidates appear in the written examination as described above.
  3. Merit List: Final merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in the written main examination.
  4. Document Verification: Selected candidates will need to present original documents and certificates for verification.

Note: Candidates with zero or negative marks in PET-2025 absolute or normalised score will not be shortlisted for the main exam.
