Educational Qualification

• Bachelor of Engineering / Technology (BE/B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Electronics, Electronics and Communication, or Electronics and Telecommunications from any Govt. / Govt. recognized institute / AICTE / UGC recognized institute.
• OR Master of Computer Application (MCA) from any Govt. / Govt. recognized institute.
• Desirable: Knowledge in Bengali or Kokborok.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years (as on 05-06-2026)
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for ST/SC/Physically Handicapped/Government Employee candidates.
• Note: ST/SC/PH candidates who are also Govt. Employees shall not get the 5-year relaxation over and above the general relaxation already available to them.

• Candidates must hold a valid Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) as per GA(P&T) Department Notification dated 07-07-2023.

Selection Process

• Stage 1: Written Examination – 170 marks (OMR-based MCQ, 3 hours / 180 minutes)
• Stage 2: Interview / Personality Test – 30 marks
• Final merit list will be prepared by combining marks of both stages.
• Candidates absent in the Interview/Personality Test will not be considered for final selection.
