The candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01 January 1962 or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Quantitative Aptitude: Number systems, fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, time and distance, time and work, algebra, geometry, mensuration, trigonometry and statistics (at applicable levels).
English Language: Vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, spot the error, fill in the blanks, idioms and phrases, reading comprehension, active/passive voice, direct/indirect narration and more.

Selection Process – SSC Selection Post Phase 14 2026
- Computer Based Examination (CBE): Objective type multiple choice questions. Separate exams for each qualification level.
- Document Upload on Portal: Candidates who qualify CBE must upload all relevant documents on the SSC portal for scrutiny.
