About SKAU and This Recruitment

Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra was established by the State Legislature Act-25 of 2017 and is located on Umri Road, Sector-8, Kurukshetra, Haryana. Through this notification, the university is filling regular Non-Teaching and Para-Medical posts on a direct recruitment basis, following the adopted University Non-Teaching Employees (Terms and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2009 of Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.

DSC stands for Deprived Scheduled Caste, OSC for Other Scheduled Caste, BC-A and BC-B for Backward Class A and B, EWS for Economically Weaker Section, ESM for Ex-Servicemen, and PwBD for Persons with Benchmark Disability, all applicable to Haryana State only. Eligibility Criteria

Staff Nurse (Advt. No. NT-01/2026)

  • Matriculation
  • A Grade Nurse registered with the Haryana Nurses Registration Council or its equivalent
  • Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one subject, or 10+2/BA/MA with Hindi as one subject

Ayurvedic Pharmacist (Advt. No. NT-02/2026)

Candidates need either:

  • Up-Vaidya from a recognized University, institution, Board or faculty of Indian System of Medicine, Matriculation or its equivalent, and Matric/10+2/BA/MA with Hindi or Sanskrit as one subject, or
  • Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy from a recognized University, institution, Board or faculty of Indian System of Medicine, 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and Matric/10+2/BA/MA with Hindi or Sanskrit as one subject

Clerk (Advt. No. NT-03/2026)

  • Graduation from a recognized University (or a Graduate Certificate issued by the competent authority of Defence Services for Ex-Servicemen with pensionable service)
  • A written test of language and General Knowledge of graduation standard
  • A data entry test at 30 words per minute, including computer skills such as internet and email use
  • Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one subject, or 10+2/BA/MA with Hindi as one subject
  • Must qualify the State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation and Applications (SETC) within the probation period of two years, extendable by one year

Eligibility with regard to age, qualifications and experience is determined as on the closing date for submission of applications. Certificates issued after the closing date will not be accepted, and a qualification not claimed in the online form will not be considered.

Age Limit

Candidates must have attained 18 years of age, and should not be more than 42 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation is available as follows, subject to a combined maximum age of 52 years.

The Phase-1 written test covers the concerned field/subject (50 questions), Reasoning and Mathematics (10), Haryana General Knowledge and Current Affairs (10), General English and Hindi (10), and Basic Computer Knowledge (10), with no negative marking. Candidates are shortlisted for Physical Document Verification in a 1:5 post-to-candidate ratio per category, based on combined Phase-1 and Phase-2 marks, and final selection is on overall merit.

The typing test uses a 600-word English passage, with a qualifying speed of 30 words per minute; marks are calculated as (WPM minus 30) out of 25, and candidates below 30 WPM are declared Not Qualified. Only those who qualify the typing test proceed to the written test, which covers Reasoning and Mathematics (15), Haryana General Knowledge and Current Affairs (15), General English and Hindi (15), and Basic Computer Knowledge (15), with no negative marking. Academic achievement marks are based on percentage in 10th, 12th and Graduation (5 marks each). Candidates are shortlisted for Physical Document Verification in a 1:5 ratio per category based on combined marks, and final selection is on overall merit.

How to Apply
