Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute approved by AICTE/UGC/Government of India.
• Minimum 55% marks in the qualifying degree (50% for SC/ST candidates).
• Only full-time regular courses will be considered. Part-time, ODL, or distance learning courses are not eligible.
• M.Tech qualification will be given additional weightage during selection.
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification work experience in Central Govt. / State Govt. / Central PSU / State PSU / Private Organizations in the relevant field of Construction, Development, Electrical work, or MEP projects.
• Internship, apprenticeship, training, teaching, academic, or freelancing experience will not be counted as qualifying experience.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 45 years as on 22 May 2026 (Closing Date).
• Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), Ex-Servicemen, and PwD candidates.
• If a candidate is eligible for age relaxation on more than one ground, only the highest admissible relaxation will be applied.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting will be done based on last drawn gross salary, relevant work experience in Civil Construction or Project Supervision (minimum 2 years), percentage of marks in B.Tech (Civil/Electrical Engineering), and Interview performance.
• Additional weightage will be given for M.Tech qualification.
• Candidates with direct experience in Indian Railways, Central PSU, State PSU, or Government Departments for a minimum cumulative period of 1 year will also receive additional weightage.
• If the total number of applicants is high, RLDA will shortlist candidates based on the above selection criteria and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
• RLDA reserves the right to assess candidates as per organizational and project requirements.

Remuneration

• Monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs. 76,000/- (all inclusive).
• Statutory deductions such as Income Tax and Professional Tax will be made as applicable.
• Employer's contribution towards EPF will form part of the CTC.
