Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification / Professional Eligibility
- Applicant must have completed 7 years or more of continuous practice as an Advocate/Pleader (including Government Pleaders and Public Prosecutors) on the date of application and must give a declaration of appearance in at least 24 cases per year in the last three years (2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25).
- Judicial Officers who have already completed 7 or more years of continuous practice as an Advocate/Pleader before being recruited in the subordinate judicial service are also eligible.
- A person who has been or is in judicial service and has a combined experience of 7 years or more as an Advocate or a Judicial Officer in continuity on the date of application is also eligible under Article 233 of the Constitution.
- Prosecution Officers/Assistant Prosecution Officers are treated as Advocates and are eligible as per the Supreme Court judgment in Civil Appeal No. 561 of 2013.

- Click the "SUBMIT" button after verifying all details. A unique Registration Number will be generated. Note it down carefully.

Admit Card
Candidates will be required to download their Admit Card from the official website www.patnahighcourt.gov.in by entering their Registration Number and date of birth. No Admit Card will be sent by post or any other mode. Admit Cards will not be accepted in the form of a mobile phone image at the exam centre.
Result and Merit List
The result of the competitive examination will be declared by uploading it on the official website of Patna High Court. No candidate will be informed about the result individually. After one year from the date of declaration of the Final Result/Select List, all examination materials including answer booklets and application forms will be destroyed, except the final result, tabulation chart, and application forms of successful candidates.
