A.

• A total research score of 120 as per criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC Regulations 2018.
• A minimum of TEN years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor and/or research experience at equivalent level with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidates.

B.

• An outstanding professional having a Ph.D. in relevant/allied/applied disciplines from any academic institution or Industry.
• Has made significant contribution to knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence.
• Must have ten years' experience.

For Associate Professor

• A good academic record with a Ph.D. in the concerned/allied (Odia Subject)/relevant disciplines.
• Master's Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience in an academic/research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor.
• A minimum of SEVEN publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed/Scopus/WoS/UGC-CARE journals.
• A total research score of Seventy-Five (75) as per criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC Regulations 2018.

Good Academic Record for Associate Professor: 'Good Academic Record' is defined as an average of 50% marks and above in Graduation. For Professor and Associate Professor Posts

• Applications will be screened as per Appendix II Table 2, UGC Regulations 2018.
• Required research score: 120 for Professor and 75 for Associate Professor.
• The Screening/Selection Committee will draw a list of all candidates in descending order of research score.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview.
• Candidates called for interview must come prepared with a PPT covering: brief biodata, subject domain strength, practical skill, student empower strategy, use of AI in pedagogy, funded research projects, consultancy research, potential for National/International collaborations, and vision for the University and Nation building.

For Assistant Professor Posts

• Shortlisting will be based on a 100-point academic score system (as per Table 3A of UGC Regulations 2018).
• Five times the number of vacancies shall be shortlisted for interview when vacancies are more than two. For subjects with only one or two vacancies, fifteen candidates shall be shortlisted for interview.
• Candidates securing 75 marks and above on the 100-point scale shall be called for interview.
