Important Terms and Conditions – NVS Chandigarh 2026
- Engagement is purely on contractual basis – till the regular incumbent joins or till the end of Academic Session 2026-27 (up to 31 March 2027), whichever is earlier.
- No automatic extension beyond Academic Session 2026-27.
- Contract engagement will not entail any claim for regularization in future.
- JNVs are residential schools – selected candidates must reside in the Vidyalaya campus and attend residential duties. Boarding and lodging will be provided as per availability and NVS norms.
- Involvement in indiscipline, moral turpitude, or corporal punishment will result in immediate termination without prior notice.
- For retired NVS/Govt. teachers: Only those who have not attained 65 years of age are eligible. Officials against whom major penalties were imposed are not eligible.
