Staff Nurse (Trainee), T&S Gr. C 10+2 + Recognized B.Sc. Nursing or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from government-approved institute + Valid registration from any State Nursing Council.
Pharmacist (Trainee), T&S Gr. C 10+2 with Science + Diploma in Pharmacy from Pharmacy Council/Central/State recognized institute + Valid registration under Pharmacy Act, 1948.
Technician (Pathological) (Trainee), T&S Gr. C Diploma in Pathology from a government-recognized institute.

Selection Process — NCL Trainee 2026

Selection is based on performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT). There is no other stage except document verification post-CBT. The process is as follows:

For HEMM Operator (Trainee) — All Posts

  • Common CBT of 100 marks for 90 minutes for all HEMM Operator posts.
  • 100 MCQ questions, each carrying 1 mark.
  • No negative marking for wrong answers.
  • Question paper in bilingual format (English and Hindi). English version is final in case of any discrepancy.
  • HEMM posts will be filled in the following merit-based order: (1) Dumper, (2) Surface Miner, (3) Dozer, (4) Pay Loader, (5) Grader, (6) Crane Operator.

For Paramedical Staff and Overseer (Civil)

  • Separate CBT for each post — 100 marks for 90 minutes.
  • Section A: 70 MCQ questions on technical/discipline knowledge — 70 marks.
  • Section B: 30 MCQ questions on General Knowledge, General Awareness, Reasoning, Verbal and Mental Ability, Quantitative Aptitude — 30 marks.
  • No negative marking. Unattempted questions carry no marks.

Syllabus for HEMM Operator (Trainee) — Annexure A

  • Road Signs and Signals: Mandatory, cautionary, and informatory signs.
  • Traffic Rules: Overtaking, parking, stopping, use of horn, speed limits, lane discipline.
  • Motor Vehicle Act Basics: Documents (RC, DL, Insurance, PUC), penalties, general road safety.
  • Elementary Knowledge of Machine: Engine functioning, braking system, cooling system, steering system, tyres, gear system (manual and automatic), lights, mirrors, safety devices, lubricants, battery, alternator.

  • Staff Nurse: Nursing basics, hospital environment, patient care, anatomy and physiology, nursing care of cardiovascular/respiratory/GI/endocrine/neuromusculoskeletal/urinary systems, psychiatric nursing, obstetrics, newborn care.

Important Rules and Instructions

  • Only online applications are accepted. No hard copies or postal applications are to be sent.
  • Qualification through distance learning or part-time mode is not acceptable for any post.
  • OBC (NCL) candidates must ensure their caste is in the Central Government OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) list, not the state list.
  • EWS certificate must be based on gross annual income of Financial Year 2025-26, valid for FY 2026-27.
