Jammu and Kashmir Bank Limited has released the JK Bank Apprentices Recruitment 2026 notification inviting online applications for 614 apprentice posts under NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) as per the Apprentices Act, 1961. Eligible graduate candidates can Apply Online from 20 April 2026 to 26 April 2026 through the official website. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Graduation from a recognized University or Institute is mandatory.
  • Candidates must have passed Graduation on or after 01 January 2022.
  • Only graduates are eligible to apply for apprenticeship under NATS.
  • The candidate should be proficient in the local or official language of the respective region and must have studied it as a subject in Class 10 or Class 12.

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 28 years
  • Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PwBD and other reserved categories as per Government of India guidelines.

Other Key Eligibility Conditions

  • Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training in J&K Bank or any other organization are NOT eligible.
  • Candidates who have job experience of one year or more after completing their educational qualification are NOT eligible.
  • Candidates previously terminated from apprenticeship due to their own fault or misconduct are NOT eligible.
  • Candidate's mobile number, Aadhaar, and bank account must be interlinked and DBT-enabled.

Stipend Details

  • Monthly Stipend: Rs. 13,500/- (Rs. 9,000/- Bank's share + Rs. 4,500/- Government's share via DBT)
  • Conveyance allowance: Up to Rs. 1,250/- per month
  • DBT amount of Rs. 4,500/- is applicable only for apprentices whose age is below 35 years on the date of contract issuance through the Apprenticeship Portal.
  • No other allowances or benefits are applicable.
  • Apprenticeship period: 12 months with 12 days casual leave only.
  • Training hours: 10 AM to 5 PM on normal working days.

How to Apply for JK Bank Apprentices Recruitment 2026

  1. Visit the NATS Apprenticeship Portal at nats.education.gov.in and complete your registration. Keep the generated enrolment number safe. Ensure your profile is 100% complete on the portal.
  2. Visit the official J&K Bank website at jkb.bank.in and click on the Careers section. Find the link for "Engagement of Apprentices" and click on it.
  3. Click "New Registration" and enter your name, contact details, and email ID. Note the Provisional Registration Number and Password sent via email and SMS.
  4. Scan and upload the required documents: recent passport-size photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm), signature in black ink, left thumb impression on white paper, and a handwritten declaration in English on white paper with black ink.
  5. Fill in all personal, educational, and category details in the online application form. Select only one district or area for training.
  6. Click "Preview" to verify all details carefully. Once confirmed, click "Complete Registration." No changes are allowed after this step.
  7. Proceed to the Payment tab and pay the application fee online using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS, or Mobile Wallet. Save the e-Receipt generated after successful payment.
  8. Take a printout of the final submitted application form and the e-Receipt for your records and for use during Document Verification if called.
