Educational Qualification

• Supporting Army units in high-altitude, desert, and other extreme environment deployments that rely on animal transport.

Selection Process

• There is no written examination for this recruitment. Selection is entirely based on the SSB Interview and Medical Examination.
• Stage 1 — Screening of Applications: All applications are screened by the Directorate General of Remount and Veterinary Services (RVS). Eligible candidates are shortlisted for the SSB interview based on academic performance and eligibility.
• Stage 2 — SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates appear for a 5-day SSB interview at one of the designated Selection Centres — Allahabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Gandhinagar.
