On exit after four years, an Agniveervayu will receive approximately Rs 10.04 Lakhs as the Seva Nidhi Package, excluding interest. Agniveervayu are also covered by a non-contributory Life Insurance of Rs 48 Lakhs during the engagement period. There is no entitlement to gratuity or any pensionary benefits, and Agniveervayu will not be governed by Pension Regulations for the Indian Air Force.
