Eligibility Criteria - Educational Qualification
Post 20.1 - Junior Engineer (Civil) | 1 Post (OBC)
- BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in CPWD/State PWD/Central-funded institutions/PSUs/reputed organizations.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and other construction management software.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Post 20.2 - Junior Engineer (Electrical) | 1 Post (ST)
- BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks.
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification relevant experience in government/PSU/private firms of national or international repute.
- Experience must cover 2 or more areas such as: electrical power distribution O&M, substation erection, building electrification, HVAC maintenance, SCADA/BMS, or street light maintenance.

Post 20.3 - Physical Training Instructor | 2 Posts (SC-1, OBC-1)
Any one of the following criteria must be met:
- Criteria 1: Bachelor's degree in any discipline + B.P.Ed / Sports Science / 4-year B.P.Ed + 3 years coaching experience in Cricket/Tennis/Squash/Weightlifting + national/state level participation or medal.
- Criteria 2: Master's degree in Physical Education/Sports Science + 1 year coaching experience + national/state level medal or participation.

Selection Process - IIT Hyderabad Non-Teaching Examination 2026
The selection for all posts (Pay Level 7 and below) will follow a structured three-stage process:
Stage I - Submission of Applications
- Applications must be submitted only through the online portal.
- All applicants who meet basic eligibility (as per online form data) will be permitted to appear for the selection process.
Stage II - Preliminary Written Test / Skill Test / Trade Test
- Depending on the number of applications, either a Preliminary Written Test (screening) + Skill/Trade Test, or directly a Skill/Trade Test will be held.
- The Preliminary Written Test is screening in nature only.
- The Skill/Trade Test is qualifying - only those who pass will move to Stage III.
Stage III - Final Written Test and Document Verification
- Final selection is based strictly on merit in the Main Written Test.
