Out of the total vacancies, a Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) reservation is provided as follows: Hearing Impaired 73, Orthopedically Challenged 70, Visually Impaired 67, and Intellectual Disability 77 posts. IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2026

Nationality

A candidate must be a Citizen of India, a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee who settled in India before 1 January 1962, or a person of Indian origin migrated from certain specified countries with an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.

IBPS PO Educational Qualification

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Government of India is required. The candidate must be a graduate on the day of registration and must have obtained the qualification on or before 21 July 2026.

IBPS PO Age Limit 2026

Minimum age is 20 years and maximum age is 30 years as on 01 July 2026. This means a candidate must be born between 02 July 1996 and 01 July 2006, both dates inclusive.

Selected candidates will draw a basic pay of Rs. 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920 under the Officer/Management Trainee scale, along with allowances and perquisites as applicable in the participating bank.

IBPS PO Selection Process 2026

Selection for CRP PO/MT-XVI is based on the following stages:

A penalty of 0.25 marks is deducted for each wrong answer marked in the objective tests. There is no penalty for questions left unanswered. Candidates must qualify in each test as well as secure the overall cut off score decided by IBPS to be shortlisted for the next stage.

How To Apply For IBPS PO Online Form 2026

Follow these steps to complete the IBPS PO Registration process:

  1. Visit the official IBPS website and open the CRP PO/MT-XVI application link.
  2. Click on New Registration and enter your basic details to generate a provisional registration number and password.
  3. Note down the registration number and password for future Login.
  4. Upload your scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration as per the specified format.
  5. Upload your SSC/SSLC/10th standard certificate and any other applicable certificate.
  6. Fill in all sections of the Online Form carefully and use the Save and Next option to verify entries.
  7. Pay the Application Fee through the integrated online payment gateway.
  8. Take a printout of the e-receipt and the completed application form for future reference.

IBPS PO General Rules 2026

  • Not more than one application should be submitted. In case of multiple applications, only the latest completed form is considered valid.
  • Any request for change of examination centre, date or time will not be entertained.
  • Candidates found using unfair means during the examination process are liable to be disqualified and debarred from future IBPS examinations.
  • Provisional allotment to a participating bank is final and binding, and no request for change of bank will be considered.
  • Any dispute arising out of the recruitment process shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the Courts situated at Mumbai.
