Age Limit

Fixed Honorarium and Nature of Engagement

Selection Process

Selection will be made through a Computer Based Test or written screening test of 120 marks, of one and a half hours duration, or as decided by the Aayog. The minimum qualifying marks are at least 45 percent for General category candidates and 40 percent for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes or Ward of Freedom Fighters candidates, subject to relaxation by the Aayog in specified circumstances. In case of multiple shifts in the Computer Based Test, scores will be normalized using the Z-Score Method, based on Mean and Standard Deviation, for preparation of the merit list.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The objective type screening test will consist of 120 multiple choice questions, with each question carrying 1 mark. The syllabus covers the following areas.

  • Subjects and fields up to the level of the prescribed essential qualification, that is B.Sc Nursing or GNM
  • General Knowledge, including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, and Current Affairs
  • Everyday Science, Logical Reasoning, Social Science, General English and General Hindi of Matric standard
