Selection Process
The selection for CSIR IGIB Technician 1 Recruitment 2026 is done through a three-stage process:
- Stage A - Screening of Applications: A Screening Committee will shortlist candidates based on the information provided in the online application form.

Important Notes on Exam Pattern:
- Paper-II and Paper-III will be evaluated only for candidates who score above the minimum threshold marks in Paper-I (threshold determined by the Selection Committee).
- The final merit list will be prepared solely on the basis of marks scored in Paper-II and Paper-III.
- Tie cases will be resolved as per CSIR Letter No. 5-1(211)/2014-PD dated 30.05.2023.
