Educational Qualification

  • Stenographer Grade-II: 12th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Skill Test — Dictation: 10 minutes at 80 words per minute; Transcription: 50 minutes (English) / 65 minutes (Hindi) on computer.
  • Lower Division Clerk: 12th Class pass from a recognized Board or University. Skill Test — Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer (10 minutes allowed).
  • Multi-Tasking Staff (Office & Training): Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board/Institute.

  • Stenographer Grade-II: Persons working in similar, equivalent or higher grades in the Civil posts of the Defence Services including Armed Forces HQ Secretarial Service.
  • Lower Division Clerk: Persons working in similar, equivalent or higher grades in Civil posts of the Defence Services including Armed Forces HQ Clerical Services.

Selection Process

For Direct Recruitment (ANC-01/2026)

  • Screening of applications based on minimum educational qualification.
  • Written Examination — objective type, 100 questions, 100 marks, duration 2 hours.
  • Skill Test for LDC candidates (shortlisted in ratio of 1:10 from written exam merit).
  • Document Verification.

For Absorption (ANC-02/2026)
