Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

All three posts - Review Officer, Assistant Review Officer, and Computer Assistant - require the same essential qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a University established by law in India, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science from a recognized institution, OR 'O' Level Certificate from NIELIT/DOEACC Society, OR 'CCC' Certificate from a recognized institute established by law in India.
  • Knowledge of Data Entry, Word Processing, and Computer Operation.
  • Minimum Typing Speed of 25 Words per minute in English Typing on Computer.

Preferential Qualification

Candidates who have served in the Territorial Army for a minimum of two years, or who hold a 'B' Certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), will be given preference, all other things being equal.

Selection Process - Allahabad High Court RO, ARO & Computer Assistant 2026

There is a single recruitment examination for all three posts, conducted in three stages. Candidates must qualify each stage individually. There is no interview.

  • Stage-I: Preliminary Examination (General Studies) - Pen and Paper (OMR based)

General Rules and Important Instructions

  • Only one application is to be submitted per candidate. In case of multiple applications, the last one will be considered. Fee paid for earlier applications will not be refunded.
  • Benefits of reservation are only available to candidates domiciled in Uttar Pradesh. For women candidates, caste/domicile certificate issued from the father's side only is valid.
  • PH candidates must have at least 40% disability. There is no provision for Scribe or extra time for PH candidates. Visually handicapped candidates may use magnifying glasses arranged at their own cost.
  • Candidates already employed in Central/State Government/PSU must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) when asked.
